Mission
Table Manners is a theater community designed to provide opportunities for playwrights, actors, directors, and those interested in critiquing new and published material—furthering our work while apart.
Our mission is to learn, receive and give feedback, critically analyze, form opinions and understand why we have them while in community.
New Works
With a focus on new works, our group is ideal for playwrights or screenwriters interested in workshopping their material, no matter where they are in the process.
Published Plays
Readings of published plays are an opportunity to critically analyze existing works while learning from their successes and short comings.

Opportunities
Actors - Apply
Minimal time commitment—there are no rehearsals
Actors receive the play at least a week in advance of the reading
Expectations of Actors:
Be familiar with lines
Make choices on your own
Use this as an opportunity to be creative
Writers - Submit
Submit your work: play, one act, screenplay, web series, scene, or monologue
Consider what kind of feed back you are looking for. What questions do you have for your actors and audience?
We will give feedback on your work after the reading, guided by your questions.
Directors - Apply
Casting
Creating a lens for the published play. This can be as specific or as general as you like, it's your signature on this existing work.
Communicating with the cast
