Coming Out

Our first musical by Allison St. Rock!

A cohort of college students experience new and thrilling sparks, erupting questions and confusions as they explore their feelings, leaning towards "coming out of the closet.” Some are welcomed with acceptance as they start to share their discoveries with friends and family, and others are met with resistance and ignorance. While their journeys never end, each character finds that their path is clearer than it has ever been before.

By Design

In a pre-apocalyptic world where some people can read a person or object's entire story just by touch, made-to-be-unreadable Alessandra teams up with reader "I Don't Do Investigations" Natasa to find her missing mother. In the midst of the two evading Ale's aristocratic father while searching for clues, a flash-back timeline hints at what her mother's been up to as a survivor and an optimist muse about the world and higher powers.

A meta-theatrical romance, "By Design" by Shelby Fairchild explores themes of consent, connection, and free will as Ale and Nat have to decide how much they're willing to risk in order to help - and love - each other.

Princeboy/Stableboy

Princeboy meets Stableboy. But Princeboy is not necessarily a prince (or a boy) and Stableboy is definitely not a stable (or a boy). But they sort of are. Thrones are sat upon. Horses are ridden. The dances have the strangest partner ratios. Love may or may not occur.

“This is a horror play on every possible level. The use of several horror tropes and very real horrific acts that lead/led to trauma for these characters allows this play to attack the genre of horror from all angles.” —Claire Marieb
